How we research, write, and correct our guides

These standards apply to every article we publish. If you think we have fallen short of them, please tell us.

Last updated October 20, 2026

Accuracy

We base our guides on widely accepted, mainstream guidance and on reputable sources such as public health agencies, academic institutions, and established professional organizations. We avoid exaggerated claims, miracle results, and advice that depends on buying a specific product.

Scope of our content

Our articles are general and educational. They are not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for a conversation with a qualified professional who knows your situation. Articles that touch on physical activity or nutrition include a reminder to check with your doctor first.

Review and dates

Every article shows the date it was last reviewed. We revisit published guides periodically and update them when guidance changes or when a reader points out something we can improve.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and update the review date. To report an error, email hello@simpledailylife.com with the article link and a short description, or use our contact page.

Independence from advertising

  • Advertisers and affiliate partners do not write, review, or approve our articles.
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage.
  • Advertising, sponsored content, and affiliate links are always clearly labeled.
  • We do not use fake reviews, invented testimonials, or false urgency such as countdown timers in our editorial content.

More detail is in our Advertising Disclosure.

Images

Photographs and illustrations on our site are used to illustrate a topic. Some are digitally created. They do not depict real readers, customers, or results.

Accessibility

We aim to make every page readable for everyone, with clear type, sufficient color contrast, descriptive image text, and full keyboard navigation. If something is hard to use, please let us know.
